Cibolo has annual get-togethers to celebrate the city's heritage and traditions, like the Annual Sausage Supper and Cibolefest.  The Sausage Supper take place at Niemietz Park and Cibolofest takes place in downtown Cibolo. Citizens of Cibolo can rent parts of Niemietz park for your own personal use.

You may rent the following:
- Baseball Field (lighting is available for an extra charge--2 hrs minimum)
- Volleyball Field (no lighting is available)
- Soccer Field (no lighting is available)
- Picnic Area (Includes small pavilion, playground, picnic tables, and grill; For an extra charge, lighting and/or electrical outlets are also available)
- Large Pavilion (lighting and/or electrical outlets are available)

Entire park is open for public use, unless it is previously reserved.

Also available:
-Meeting Room (Includes table and chairs, however table and chairs are available for the meeting room only! Total cost of room is calculated by flat rate plus hourly rate.)
-Kitchen (Total cost of kitchen is calculated by flat rate plus hourly rate.)
