Spring Cleanup for the City of Cibolo

Spring Cleanup will be held from Saturday, March 27, 2010 thru Sunday, April 11, 2010.
The hours will be 8:00 am til 6:00 pm daily.  Drop offs may be made at Bexar Waste Colleciton Point at 2221 FM 3009 (next to Schertz Funeral Home)

Spring Cleanup is for Cibolo Residents only that pay for garbage service. (NO COMMERCIAL)
A current utility bill and proper identification are required when making a drop off. Spring Cleanup activities do not apply to commercial property clean up, large property clean up, lot or acreage clean up or lot and property land clearing.

Hazardous Waste will be accepted ONLY  ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY APRIL 3rd AND 4th AND APRIL 10th AND 11th.
This type of waste may include insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers,chemicals, cleaning and bleach products, swimming pool cleaners, enamel and latex paint in cans and aerosol dispensers, varnish and stains, paint thinners, paint removers and acetone. Empty Propane tanks up to seven (7) gallons will not be accepted unless the valve is entirely removed. Automotive waste includes used oil and filters, batteries and tires. Tires will be accepted but only from automobiles and pickup trucks. Tires on rims or wheels, commercial vehicles, tractor and heavy equipment tires will not be accepted. There is a limit of four (4) tires per household.

The City will still provide curbside chipping for TREE trimmings, free of charge. The day for this service depends on what part of the city you live in. Residents who live north of Borgfeld Rd. will be the first tuesday of the month. Residents living south of Borgfeld Rd. will be the last tuesday of the month. You must call City Hall at 210-658-9900 to be on the list.
