Applications will be accepted as long as a position is open.

CIBOLO POLICE DEPARTMENT
is accepting applications for Police Officer through Friday February 12, 2010.

Qualifications:

. Must have a Texas Peace Officer License and be eligible for
  commissioning at the time of appointment.
. Must pass written test, physical agility, oral interview board, 
  background investigation, polygraph, and psychological/
   physical exam.
. Must complete Field Training Program and a 1 year
   probationary period.

Benefits include:

. Starting Salary $35,491 depending upon qualification and
  experience.
. Certificate pay for Intermediate, Advanced & Master TCLEOSE
  Certifications - up to $260 per month.
. Longevity Pay $10 per month after 1 year for  up to 25 years.
. Medical insurance, Dental, Vision and Basic Life insurance are
  provided to employees.  Dependent coverage is available.
. Deferred compensation plan (optional)
. Vacation - 2 weeks after 1 year with increases based on
  tenure.
.  Sick time
. 14 paid Holidays
. Uniform and duty equipment provided including firearms

ADMINSTERED AT 9 AM ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20,
2010 AT CIBOLO CITY HALL, 200 SOUTH MAIN, CIBOLO,
TEXAS 78108

Upon submission of an application to Human Resources a study guide for the written exam will be made available.
The study guide must be returned on the exam date in order to be admitted to the testing area.
The supplemental questionnaire for police officer applicants must also be completed and returned.
