Court is held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. You must attend your scheduled court date in order to appear before the judge. However, you may be able to handle your case without coming
to court.  Please contact the court for your options.

Cibolo Municipal Court handles all class C misdemeanor traffic and city ordinance violations written by Cibolo Police, Animal Control, and Code Enforcement Departments.
Important Things to Remember:

- Documents for citations may NOT be submitted to City Hall by fax. Documents MUST be carried in.
- Any communication either directly or indirectly with the municipal court judge concerning the merits of a pending judicial process is considered an ex parte communication and is prohibited by the Code of Judicial Conduct

Citations

Citations for expired state inspection if the state inspection sticker has not been expired for more than 60 days may be dismissed for a $20.00 fee if proof of a valid inspection is presented to the court by the appearance date for the citation.

Citations for expired state registration may be dismissed for a $20.00 fee if proof of a renewed registration with the tax penalty paid at the tax agency is presented to the court within 20 business days from the date of the citation.

Citations for failure to maintain financial responsibility may be dismissed if proof of financial responsibility on the date of the citation is presented to the court.

Payment Options

The City of Cibolo Municipal Court only accepts cash, money orders, cashier checks, and credit cards for the payment of fine costs. Personal checks are currently accepted on citations NOT witholding a warrant status. Please remember that when paying by credit card there will be a 4% or $4.00 transaction fee, whichever is less.
